Choosing a digital camera these days is really difficult because of the competition and all the cameras are quite good. But one aspect I consider when buying a camera is the quality and the user friends functions regardless of the price.

I’m just curious. When I choose a new digital camera I usually have a few things in mind like megapixels and other features I want. But the deal-breaker is if the camera comes with its own proprietary battery pack then I’m gone. I’m not spending an extra 30 dollars for a battery pack to take more pictures when I can buy a camera that uses AA batteries which I can get on sale. And If I need that extra juice when my rechargeables run out I can get a couple of regular alkalines in a pinch.
Do you make battery types a part of your buying decision?

We were on holiday and our old camera broke so we splashed out on a new one and it made all the difference to our holiday pics. We have features where you can pick out one colour and leave the rest black and white for example which means you can take some fun photos. Speak to the experts in the shops and do some research, it’s well worth it!

It’s tricky buying a new camera because you know that as soon as you choose one and buy it, an even better one will come out and you’ll be annoyed that yours doesn’t have the same flashy features.
